Lucy H. Flake letter, 1883.

A letter from Lucy H. Flake (writing from Snowflake, Arizona) to her brother, William Henry White, March 4, 1883. She writes that her family has been spared so far from the smallpox epidemic (she was vaccinated the day before writing this letter). Her mother has just cut her visit short to go to the Temple. She is happy to share her Latter-day Saint religion with inquiring "outsiders."
